Customs, Duties and Taxes

LightUpK Inc. is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, tariffs, or import fees applied to your order.

For international shipments, the recipient of the order is considered the importer of record and is responsible for complying with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Any fees imposed during or after shipping (including tariffs, taxes, duties, and customs clearance fees) are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Customs Clearance

International shipments may be subject to customs inspections and clearance procedures. These processes may cause delays beyond the original estimated delivery timeframe.

LightUpK Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing in the destination country.

 

Pre-Order Items

Pre-order items may experience delayed fulfilment.

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will be shipped once all items are available.

Estimated timelines shown on the product page refer to the expected arrival of the item at our warehouse, not the final delivery date.

 

Order Processing Time

All orders are aimed to be processed within 2–4 business days.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we experience a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by several days. If there will be a significant delay, we will notify you via email.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to recent changes in U.S. import regulations, ALL items going into the United States are subject to tariff regardless of the product’s country of origin. Please note that any duties or import taxes, customs clearance fees imposed by U.S. Customs and courier services are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

 

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Tracking numbers usually become active within 24 hours.

 

Damages 

LightUpK Inc. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. However, we view customer satisfaction and after-sales service as high priority and would like to offer assistance and compensation in applicable situations. If you received your order damaged, please reach out to us at orders@lightupk.com for further questions or assistance. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before contacting us. Please submit all relevant proof of damage as well as details of shipping receipt to us in the email. If the items you received are different from the ones you have ordered, please contact us as soon as possible and send us an email to: orders@lightupk.com. Please do not open the merchandise, since we cannot accept returns or exchanges of already opened merchandise. 

 

Returns

We offer a 5-day return/exchange policy. You have 5 days to request for a return starting from the day that you received your item. To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase (e.g confirmation email, order number).

All our returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis. To start a return/exchange or inquire whether your order is eligible for a return/exchange, you can contact us at orders@lightupk.com. Simply provide us with the order detail (e.g. order number), your contact information (e.g. your name, phone number, address), and your reason for requesting the return. Once your return request is received and approved we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. 

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return/exchange will NOT be accepted. Items opened and used will NOT be accepted. If you send us back items that have been opened or used, it will be disposed of. We will not refund or return opened or used products. 

 

 

Refused Shipments

If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs duties, taxes, or import fees, the package may be returned to us. Any return shipping costs, customs charges, or handling fees incurred will be deducted from the customer’s refund.

 

Undeliverable Orders

Canada

Orders returned due to incorrect address or refusal of delivery will be refunded minus a $15 CAD return shipping fee.

International Orders

Orders returned due to incorrect address or refusal of delivery will be refunded minus a $60 CAD return shipping fee.
